A Week?

Has it already been a week since my last post?

Dang.

I had such high hopes for getting caught up and keeping up with the blogging...I've lost such hope for the piles of laundry that seem to be multiplying in my room like rabbits...grrrrr.

I have been jotting down ideas for posts but I haven't had the time to sit down and type any of them out...

Between school, house cleaning, cooking, cleaning some more, feeding/changing/playing with Ruby, cleaning again, swimming for Max, football for Max, soccer for Abby, homework, baths, bedtimes, lunch making, cleaning AGAIN!...I just haven't carved out the time to do it.

No more, I am going to sit down and do some posts...my goal is to do at least one tonight...I wouldn't hold your breath though...just in case :)

Okay, since you might be having some Ruby withdrawal...because face it, the girl is cute...and Max and Abby and Lucy (also quite cute) have given me some good pics lately...I'll grant you one of each :) I know, I'm nice like that...

She is sporting her "stylish" (her words not mine) new rain boots she got from Nana and Papa for her birthday...wore them everywhere for two days...hasn't rained yet :P

9 years...

I have been away from the blog for too long! I haven't wanted to be but life happens sometimes. We have been really busy around here for the past few weeks and I have a whole slew of ideas for posts but I just haven't had the time to sit down and type...also, I havebeen in severe pain since Sunday due to a tooth that I had to have a root canal on yesterday. it was pressing on the nerve in my jaw...


Anyway, as my first post since my unintended self-imposed blogging hiatus...


9 years ago today...

I married the best blind date ever!

We have driven each other crazy and held on tight to each other.

We laugh and yell and smile and cry together.

We have created a beautiful family together (they tend to drive us crazy at times too)!

I cook for him and he loves to eat :)

It hasn't always been easy but our faith and love for God and each other keeps us going even through the tough times.

He has a good heart, loving/silly spirit, a curious nature, and a good moral character.

He works hard for his family.

The fact that he is incredibly handsome?...just a side benefit :)

Happy Anniversary John! I love you and I hope we have at least 90 more years together :)

I'm Here!

Sorry everyone. After having such a good week last week with the blogging I kinda fell into a pit this week. John has been working late 2 nights a week and soccer practice and football practice got into full swing this week. I had a committee meeting Wednesday night for my 20th high school reunion (YIKES! 20 years? Seriously?) and then I took Lucy to meet her preschool teacher on Thursday (more on that to come). Also, I have been working on getting organized for my parents 40th anniversary (more to come on that as well).

We are having a family weekend this weekend so I will post "hopefully" Monday night.
